Lloyd MalcolmLloyd Malcolm is a practitioner of Amatsu Natural Japanese Therapy. Amatsu is a holistic Japanese therapy that has evolved over a period of nearly five thousand years, influenced by Chinese, Korean and other Oriental sciences and philosophies. Lloyd studied under the tutelage of Christine Duffy and then William Doolin in Dun Laoghaire Co. Dublin. William Doolin is one of the three westerners responsible for bringing Amatsu into the West after having studied under the guidance of Professor Maasaki Hatsumi in Japan. Lloyd completed his diploma in Amatsu in Oct 2002 in the disciplines of Anma and Seitai. He then went on to further complete his studies in the disciplines of Shinden Jutsu and Kenku Jutsu in England with Dennis Bartram in 2004-2005 and 2008.

With the emphasis of Amatsu on treating the person rather than just the symptoms, its not surprising that is has been found to be beneficial in treating a plethora of ailments and conditions. Musculoskeletal problems, digestive problems, emotional problems, sciatica and migraines are just some of the conditions that Amatsu has been found to alleviate. Amatsu is a gentle therapy, suitable for old and young alike. There are no hard adjustments in Amatsu and the majority of people find it very relaxing.
